If you are a photographer in the Lafayette, Indiana area, you’ll be interested to know that Lafayette’s first cooperative photo studio is hosting a free day after this month.
Second Level Studios plans to open its doors on March 1, self-labelled as an incubator that creates growth within the local photography community. The studio aims to be a useful space for hobbyist photographers and full-time professionals alike.
For the hobbyist, SLS has a $60/month membership option that allows you 4 hours of studio/meeting time per month. On the opposite end of the spectrum, professionals can get keys to the studio and unlimited access for $300/month.
Later in the month, Second Level Studios will host a “free day” in which they welcome the Lafayette community to come utilize the studio to the fullest and decide if it’s a space they’re interested in utilizing again in the future. To sweeten the deal, they’ll be serving free HotBox pizza and will make available three local models that you can reserve a time with to test the Second Level Studio equipment and scenes.
