Aviation Day is coming back to Purdue; I’m photographing it

For the first time in 105 years, Purdue Aviation Day is coming back to the Purdue University Airport. The event is coupled with the College of Technology transforming into the Purdue Polytechnic Institute. As such, this is an event that the School wants to document and market as heavily as possible. Just about every airline industry partner that the School has will be featured at the event and will be seeking equal marketing exposure.

I’m extremely excited to announce that I am the lucky one that has been chosen by the Purdue University and the School of Aviation and Transportation Technology to photograph the all-day event.

While this seems like a relatively simple task, the University has staked a lot in the marketing photography for this event. Austin Decker, a Sophomore in the School who is organizing the event, stressed to me the criticality of the photographic content captured at this event and how it will positively affect the Aviation Days in the future.
